The Liberal Democrats are currently investigating a complaint against councillor Ayoub Khan from Birmingham due to TikTok videos he posted questioning the extent of the atrocities committed by Hamas in Israel. Khan represents Aston and posted a series of clips on the popular social media platform expressing his views on the Middle Eastern conflict. Mr. Khan called for public access to evidence of those killed or harmed during the conflict.
In a video posted on October 21, Mr. Khan called on the Israeli government to provide details of its civilians killed in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Furthermore, he suggested that a 45-minute video depicting the attack’s aftermath that was shown to journalists should be available to the public.
