Shall Not Fade Festival announce first-ever camping edition in Bristol

In an announcement made via Instagram, Shall Not Fade has unveiled its debut camping festival set to take place at Bristol’s Baskerville Hall just on the border of Wales. The three-day festival is slated to take place from August 30 to September 2, 2024, featuring music from 12:PM to 4:AM each day. The festival will see the expansion of the record label’s roster of artists.

A year after Shall Not Fade’s announcement that its debut festival would take place in September 2022, featuring a range of names from the label’s roster, including Coco Bryce, Ell Murphy, Interplanetary Criminal, and Mixtress, the label has now revealed that its 2024 edition will be a camping festival held on the grounds of Baskerville Hall. The venue is situated amidst the stunning rural surroundings of the Wye Valley.

Founder KGW has revealed how the idea for the festival came about during an interview with Resident Advisor after the 2022 edition of the festival. He has stated that he was inspired from grassroots parties that would go on in Bristol’s rural areas, such as Castle Combe, which he would attend when he was younger. He also added that he had wanted to do an “all-day party” for a long time as he feels that’s something that hasn’t been done in the UK before.

With the two-year gap between the two festivals, Shall Not Fade plans to capitalize on the extra time to plan a never-seen-before experience for festival-goers. The festival’s location adjacent to the border with Wales ensures a peaceful retreat set amidst breathtaking natural scenery
