DUP: No dissent within the party over Stormont boycott, says leader

The DUP have been boycotting Stormont since February 2022 in protest of the post-Brexit trade arrangements, and Sir Jeffrey updated party members and politicians on the ongoing negotiations with the government.

Sir Jeffrey stated that the party remains “very clear and focused on what we need to achieve” and that there have been “no recommendations” from Number 10 on Thursday night, as they await “final proposals”. He also reassured party members that he is regularly talking to them and listening to any concerns they may have, and that many of these concerns have been incorporated into the party’s proposals to the government.
