Jordan Nocturne has released his latest EP, ‘Musique’, under the renowned label Permanent Vacation. The DJ and producer has appreciated the label for years, and this marks his second release with them. This record displays his passion for club spaces, making it an ideal fit for a night out in his hometown of Belfast.
‘Musique’ EP comprises three dancefloor-oriented tracks. The titular track, ‘Musique,’ is an all-encompassing Italo song, complete with a pulsating bassline that sets the mood for the whole EP. ‘Get Into It,’ the follow-up, contains sleazy synths and ’80s textures, generating a zany classic house cut. The EP’s closing song, ‘Acyd,’ features retro drum machines and driving basslines, twisted with a groovy acid house topline.
Jordan Nocturne mentions, “I’m delighted to back on such a seminal label as Permanent Vacation alongside artists I really respect, with three tracks spanning acid, Italo, and house”. He also shares his happiness in sharing what he has been working on for the past few months, kicking off a busy release schedule for the winter. It has been a year since his last original EP, which was released on Correspondent in September.
