The annual Horst festival in Brussels is unveiling a new temporary club space next month, set to host 20 nights of experimental and diverse techno and electronica sets. The Horst Arts & Music Club will run for five months, from 27 October until March 2024, and will continue to reimagine dancefloors through imaginative stage design, as per the festival.
The space, erected on the Asiat Park site, from which Horst operates each year, is billed as a large spiral structure, designed by arts and performance studio Decoratelier and headed by co-founder Jozef Wouters and Carolin Gieszner of touché-touche. The space aims to bring warmth and a touch of the weird to its offerings, continuing the festival’s focus on conceptual artistry.
The upcoming opening weekend, which takes place 28-29 October, will feature Gabrielle Kwarteng headlining, with other artists like Maricas’ ISAbella and GiGi FM supporting. The club has unveiled its line-ups for dates up to 25 November, featuring names like Move D, Moxie and Radioactive Man.
Horst’s commitment to Asiat Park as a cultural space where art and music coexist will be further realised by this new initiative, in parallel with previous openings such as the recent Horst EXPO, a month-long art gallery that opened after the 2023 edtion of the festival
