London-based DJ HAAi has been chosen to curate the next DJ-Kicks mix series, which will be released on November 10 via !K7 Records. HAAi’s mix features three new tracks from the artist, as well as exclusive songs from other artists such as I.JORDAN, Koreless, Kam-Bu, River Moon, and more.
The theme of the series is ‘Always Ascending’, which aligns with HAAi’s artistry and her upcoming debut album, ‘Baby, We’re Ascending’ set for release in 2022. The first single taken from the DJ-Kicks mix, ‘ZiGGY’, is already available.
HAAi said, “I’m so proud to present my DJ-Kicks filled with exclusive tracks from some of my favourite artists from around the globe. The theme of the mix is ‘Always Ascending’ with each artist interpreting this brief individually. From I. JORDAN’s ‘Life On The Wing’ to The Blessed Madonna’s ‘Strong’. The mix was made to give the listener the feeling of constantly ascending to collective euphoria.”
To coincide with the release, HAAi will host an event, An Evening With HAAi, on October 20 in London, where exclusive performances from various artists, such as Club Fitness, Debonair, Jaye Ward, Luxe, Optimo, and Tsuniman, will be showcased.
